My secret project !!

Today it is Fathersday and for this occasion I made a quilt to go with our old car. I made it for my DH. It is a great car and we travel with it through the country. But for the children it is a little bit cold. It has a fleece on the inside, lining and a top, so this should keep them warm !!

Since I started quilting I am in love with this quilt... so after so many finished project I thought, this is the time to start... Dear Jane!! I am thinking about making a small version of about 49 blocks, so it will be a nice project, not to small not big... but we will see as we go along...

And this is the finished bag from the other side. Inside a big pocket, a small one for pencils and of course one for a mobile phone, the inside fabric is from Kaffe again with all the colors inside which I used outside...

En dit is de prachtige binnenkant het stofje past precies bij de kleuren borduurgaren. Hoe de voorkant eruitziet kan je op de volgende foto zien. En qua kleuren is het niet te geloven maar past het precies bij mijn nieuwe tas... ja .. die die ik nog moet maken de japansetas. De hexagonen-tas. Fantastisch straks een tas waar mijn knutselwerkjes in kunnen met een prachtige pinkeeper en een etuitjes voor naaigerei...dan kan ik op pad ...

Zo'n leuk patroon van Stashy Nash, en weer een affo, heerlijk zo een voor een allerlei werkjes afmaken, ik had in Londen al alles gebroduurd maar kwam er maar niet aan toe om het vogelzand in een zakje te doen en het speldenkussentje af te maken.. maar nu wel..

Bezig met het Sue Spargo project, dus even een update. een kant van de ... jawel nog een tas....is af, de andere zit ook al gespeld maar moet nog leuk bewerkt worden met kraaltjes en natuurlijk net te vergeten vastgezet worden met steekjes op naar de volgende kant maar eerst tussendoor mijn DH's quilt sandwichen... niet echt een van mijn favoriete taakjes .. maar ja t moet gebeuren...
