Texel

We eat at a lovely farmhouse. You can also stay there for the night it is called the 14 stars, I love the name, this is because the have 14 totally different rooms. We drove from Den Hoorn, to De Koog to Den Burg.

Texel

Texel is an island just above Den Helder, in just 25 minutes by boot you will be there but the atmosfere is totally different, here some pictures of yesterday. We just went for a day. Mostly people go there to visit for a longer period, but one day is also very nice to do.

Civil War Dairy Quilt

I know I still have time but since it is rainy today I just wanted to make a CWD and show you immediately. Don't worry my homework is not nearly done... this is the first block I made. I enjoyed the sunny days we had the last weeks and had the work during the other times...

It is big easy and fast but so nice to do when you are on holiday and it is certainly finished when you are back...

D - Quilt

This is the Quilt D. sleeps under every night, it is one of my first samplers. She was still in the pinks and reds ans all the blocks are made by hand... sorry it isn't ironed but it is a sleeping quilt lol
