Home of a needleworker

Lately it is beautiful weather, finally it is warmer and the sun is shining, so I moved outside with my embroidery, a little bit in the shade just working on my stitches...

Meanwhile our lilac is blossoming

Our lovely old house is the pride owner of some new windows, and we are so happy with them

So you see the house is getting there in embroidery... just a few stitches to go and in real life  just a few paints.

The Truth is not what you know. It 's what you believe .

Weekend Update

My Medallion quilt, to make it a little brighter, and more rectangle, I decided to make 2 borders of hearts always one of my favorites hearts and stars... so soon you will see some starts in this project...

A wonderful Mothers day.... a lot of nice self-made gifts, some flowers , beautiful quilt books and a lot of chocolate what does a girl want more ????

And my oldest made this for me:

M is for the million things she gave to me: love, life, trust
O means you are the only one for daddy, N and me
T is for the tears she caught: heartbreak, an insufficient ( haha)
H is for her heart of purest gold
E is for her eyes, with love-light shining
R means right, and right she'll always be

Put them together, they spell MOTHER a word that means the world to me.....

( wow  and yes there where some tears... you can imagine..)

What have I done lately.........well

When I am traveling I always take a little project with me... this is it... Home of a needleworker, a nice little embroidery,  the text sure fits me, I like embroidery, quilting and knitting .-) would it be enough needlework ??

Kopenhagen Nyhavn, beautiful weather and such a nice weekend !!

Normally it would be wool or fabrics... but no this is lego... isn't it fun !!

Can't find time to work on the medallion quilt... have to do my homework, so hopefully soon you see the birds finally sitting on a branch with leaves and the pieces will be joined together  ...

And  a finish.. I am so happy it feels very soft and was much easier to knit then I expected a pattern by Rowan, knitted with big wool (drift), the front you can see on the message below...

Almost finished, well finished, I am on the last rows of my Christel Seyfart mongolia Shawl... and she is Danish... ( but this shawl I already started a few years ago) and after the last rows I need to do the borders would love to start blue and black already, but have to finis 10 rows of 522 stitches ....
